I came up with the name Re--being as an amalgamation of the words resource and wellbeing.
The aim of this blog is to share both old, 'tried and tested' and new, innovative resources to promote good mental health.
The name also connotes the process of re-discovering oneself and learning to live again, after a life event such as the onset of illness, a breakdown or a bereavement.

Re--being makes no distinction between those who are
mentally 'healthy' and those who are mentally 'ill', rather takes the view that
we all sit somewhere on a spectrum of wellbeing. Where we are differs and changes from hour
to hour, week to week and year to year.
...Therefore this blog is for anyone who
has an interest in their own and others mental and emotional wellbeing.
