Hi there!
My name is Beth and I'm 20. I'm a
Yorkshire lass who loves reading, writing and walking in the Dales (or anywhere
really!). People who don't know me would describe me as the fidgety, quiet one
in the corner. My friends would describe me as the considerate and friendly one
who apologises for just about everything.
I've been wanting to start a blog for a
while, but didn't know what it should be about. It wasn't until the insomniac
in me was wide awake in the early hours of a Tuesday morning that the idea for Re--being was born. It came out of a desire to share
my personal journey of recovery from mental illness in a less intimate way than
a 'personal' blog.
I will (hopefully!) be regularly posting
writing and pictures to share with you resources that I have created or been
told about. These will be resources that I have found useful and perhaps others
may find helps them too.
Disclaimer: I'm not a mental health
professional (maybe one day...!) and I don't have any training in psychology.
Rather I like to see myself as an 'expert by experience' on the matters I
discuss relating to mental wellbeing.
